Caring For Those Who Cared For Us

All too often, the ones who helped build so many of our communities are forgotten in their later stages of life. Whether it be due to lack of resources or lack of family living nearby who is able to care for them, their final years come hard and fast. Pace Southeast Michigan works avidly taking preventative measures to ensure elders can remain independent in their own homes as long as possible.

Instead of passing along parents to a nursing home where they’d receive blanked general care, PACE offers an alternative solution that provides customized care including medical and social services, transportation, and financial relief of medical-related visits and medications. With over a quarter of Michigan residents above the age of 60, it’s good to know that there are places like PACE for people to plan and rely on in this special stage of life.

Sometimes, this could be a lonely period of life but PACE Southeast Michigan sees to it that there is an outlet for those who may feel forgotten or trapped by certain circumstances. As a family-oriented insurance group, AYoung insurance can empathize with this situation which is why we’ve agreed to make it the focus of our community cause campaign for the next few months. If you’d like to contribute, we’ll put forth $20 in your name for each person you recommend to us for a no-obligation quote. Help us care for those who cared for us!
