Did you know that cancer is the number one cause of death by disease in children? Kids from our very own community are fighting to survive cancer every day.
At AYoung Insurance, we understand that dealing with a diagnosis can be an incredibly heartbreaking and overwhelming experience for the child and the whole family. We want to introduce and provide unique opportunities to our community to show these families they’re not alone in the fight against childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. For the next three months, we will be teaming up with St. Jude to achieve our agency’s vision of providing peace and comfort to these needy families.
St. Jude is a non-profit organization that aims to advance cures for pediatric diseases through research and treatment. They are nationally recognized for leading the way the world understands, treats, and defeats illnesses. St. Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80% since it opened more than 50 years ago.
We believe there’s a place for everyone in the fight against cancer. AYoung insurance can empathize with this situation which is why we’ve agreed to make it the focus of our community cause campaign for the next few months.
